"does this assembly work with the original tu2j2 ecu?"
Yes, we did not change anything else. By the way is there any difference between S2 Rallye ecu and S1 Rallye ecu?

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
Well, there is nothing special. The original alternator is replaced to a newly developed motor-generator unit. It is not externally excited, but has permanent magnets on rotor. We replaced the original v-belt to 6pk micro V belt. The system gives ~extra 20-25 HP between 5000 and 7000 engine RPM. (Th...

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
It works better than before. The problem I have is that I have never driven an S1 Rallye with 1.3l engine. So I don't know if it is better than it could be with it's original engine condition or not. Very probably yes! It can still revs up to limit at 7400rpm. And I do believe it has more torque at ...

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
Finally we managed to repair the engine. The 1.6 crankshaft fits in, so the repair cost was quite low. ( crankshaft, sealings, connecting rod, bearings etc.). The result is ~1450ccm and ~11 compression ratio. After a few hours of low speed running-in, last week we went to a trackday. Here is the res...

"What is your opinion? Can the TU5 1.6 crankshaft be fitted into S1 Rallye block? Does anyone have experience?"

I have one, see below. At the moment I am ~2000km away from it, therefore I cannot make new pictures.

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
Probably XSI piston than, because there is a hole on the top... We made further investigation on the motor. Here are the coclusions: The cylinder head is original. We measured the volume of the combustion chamber in cylinder head, it is ~30ccm. According to the homologation form of group N Rallye 1....

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
I was seeking for the dimensions of connecting rods in TU engines, and I found some info on https://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/repair-206/ Acording to this info, the "C dimension of the connecting rod used in TU5 engines are the same as the one in TU2J2. (133,5mm) However in my motor that dimension...

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
Recently I have an issue with the white Rallye. I managed to "bake" the engine. We disassembled and found that one bearing was melt. The crankshaft is out of dimension by ~ half millimeter on the position of the melt bearing (2nd or 3rd cylinder). All other pin diameters are within toleran...

Re: Peugeot 106 Rallye white and Kenwood black
That is "kers like" mild hybrid system. It gives extra 20-25 electric HP for short period. We developed it for professional racing purposes, and I installed the prototype into my hobby car for testing. According to the log of RaceChrono the acceleration in 3rd gear from 87km/h to 115km/h w...
